Kingdom of Marionettes release status

Act 2 is released for PC and Mac. The creator has not announced an Act 2 Android release or an Act 3 date. On 30 October, Thepipi said development of Kingdom of Marionettes would pause while they finish their thesis.

The short answer

Act 2 / Day 2: Thepipi announced its release on 7 October 2026 for PC and Mac. The player on this fan site runs a separate browser package internally labelled version 2.0 and includes Day 2.

Android: An APK is listed on the creator's page, but the Act 2 announcement says the Android update will arrive later. A listed Android download alone does not confirm Day 2.

Next act: Thepipi's 30 October plan describes a temporary development pause and gives no Act 3 release date.

Availability can change. These statements are a dated reading of the linked announcements and file listing, not a promise that downloads or save files are interchangeable.

Language and translation status

The Act 2 update says Simplified Chinese was available for Act 1, with Act 2 translations planned later. The current download list also shows separate Brazilian Portuguese and Russian packages. Their presence does not establish an Act 2 translation: verify the language and act named in the package before downloading.

Release timeline and what is still unknown

  1. 7 October 2026: Thepipi announced Act 2 for PC and Mac, with Android and Act 2 translations to follow. Read the announcement.
  2. 30 October 2026: Thepipi announced a temporary break from Kingdom of Marionettes development while finishing a university thesis, and said they plan to return after graduation. The post does not provide a date for the next act. Read the plan.

The creator's main game page still has an “Act 1 (DEMO)” feature list. That older summary and the newer Act 2 announcement coexist on the same listing. For release timing, use the dated development posts; for download availability, check the current files.

If Act 2 does not appear

First check which package and platform you opened. An older extracted desktop folder or the listed Android APK can look like the Act 1 demo. The Act 2 troubleshooting guide separates version problems from the Day 2 story loop and links to a clearly labelled player-tested route map. The official release posts do not publish a complete Act 2 ending chart.

For the creator's files, use our download guide. For Act 1's three documented endings and affection values, use the separate Act 1 ending guide; those values do not establish Act 2 rules.
