How to play U DON'T GET IT
This is a choice-driven Ren'Py story. The creator says dialogue choices affect the protagonist's mindset and how the truth unfolds. The hosted menu offers Start, Load, Settings, Endings, About and History.
Wait for loading to finish, select Start, then read the opening content notice and setup choices.
Choose your preferred pronouns when prompted. The creator lists pronoun selection as a feature.
Click, Space or Enter advances standard Ren'Py dialogue. Select the reply that reflects the attitude you want to test.
Save before a significant choice. Reload that slot to compare another response without replaying the entire opening.
| Action | Standard Ren'Py input | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Advance or select | Left-click, Space or Enter | Click inside the frame first if keyboard input does not respond. |
| Open game menu | Esc or right-click | Find Save, Load and Settings while playing. |
| Review earlier dialogue | History on the main menu; Page Up or scroll up when available | Check a clue before making a later choice. |
| See unlocked endings | Endings on the main menu | Locked entries become a simple progress checklist. |
The keyboard shortcuts above are Ren'Py defaults and may differ in this build. The creator currently describes the release as an English demo; future chapters and localization are still in development.
Three-ending replay guide
The hosted demo's Endings screen shows three locked entries on a new save. Their titles and exact requirements are hidden there, so this guide focuses on a reliable way to explore all available branches without inventing route answers.
Plan three separate runs
- Complete one natural playthrough. Pay attention to how you react when your assigned guide ignores you and to any later choices involving Zhenya. Return to Endings afterward and record which slot unlocked.
- Start from a save before the first important disagreement. Choose a more direct or confrontational response, then keep that attitude consistent through later conversations. Check the Endings menu again.
- Reload the same branch point for a more patient or withdrawn response. Continue to the demo's conclusion and compare the final unlocked slot with the earlier two.
Where to keep saves
| Save point | Why it matters | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| After the opening setup | Preserves your chosen name and pronouns. | Replay the story without repeating setup. |
| Before a major conversation with Zhenya | The creator says dialogue choices affect the protagonist's mindset. | Try opposing tones and note subsequent reactions. |
| Before a late decision | Allows short repeat runs when you are close to an ending. | Compare the ending screen after each result. |
Use separate save slots instead of overwriting a completed route. If two responses lead to the same ending, return to an earlier branch and change a different decision. Since this is a demo, the three visible slots describe the current hosted build rather than a promise about the finished game's ending count.
